Investigation on ultimate behavior of elevated girder highway bridges by multi-directional shaking table test and development of advanced seismic performance verification method
Concretely, our researches is related to Structural Design, Earthquake Resistant and Base Isolated Structures, Visualization of Landscape, Maintenance and Management, Evaluation of Environmental Burden and specially relate to Constructions such as Bridges, Highways and Railways.
Experimental Testing Facilities that we have in our laboratory are High Precision Three Dimensional Pseudo-Dynamic Testing System that expiries and evaluates the Performance of Structure Seismic Design, which we can proudly say it is unparalleled all over the world and Material and Recurrence Loading Device; which both of them made by MTS Systems Corp, as well as Small Scale of Shaking Table. In addition, Precise Corrosion Measurement Device and Sensor System to monitor the Environmental Corrosive to evaluate the Mechanical Performance of the Corroded Steel Structures.
Moreover, Computational Facilities such as Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis Software (FEM) ABAQUS, Computational Fluid Dynamic Analysis Software (CFD) STAR-CD to evaluate the Atmospheric Environment, Computer Graphics Software (CG) and a variety of User Subroutines that are programmed and developed by our Research Group Members.
The Various Facilities in our Laboratory give us a lot Opportunity to carry out Feasible Large Scale Numerical Analyses with High Accuracy widely in many fields. However, when it is necessary we have the ability to develop new software in the computational environment.
